Anne Stevenson, PT, MPT

Anne was inspired to study physical therapy with a love of working with people and inspiring the love of exercise. She has a Master’s degree in physical therapy from Wayne State University. After practicing in the Detroit area and Florida she settled in Ann Arbor and has practiced here since 2004. Her practice focuses on evaluating movement patterns of the patient to correctly identify problem areas leading to the pain and injury. Since 2004 she has studied the Osteopathic approach of Muscle Energy Technique at Michigan State University in addition to taking a variety of local courses focused on manual therapy allowing her to develop an effective manual medicine treatment regime for the whole body. She has also taken continuing ed courses to learn the application of Kinesio Tape to aid in healing.
