Ashley Scott Bernstein

Ashley Scott Bernstein, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS

Being a patient of physical therapy during college focused Ashley’s interest in science and medicine. She went on to become a physical therapist. She graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan and became a NATA Board Certified Athletic Trainer. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. As a professional, Ashley has set two goals to shape her career: 1) to develop a broad skill set through both experience and continuing education and 2) to educate her patients on how the body works and heals.

Using manual therapy and functional exercise, she helps her patients achieve their goals and improve their overall movement. During the initial evaluation, Ashley will focus not only on the area of pain or stiffness but also look beyond, at the whole body, to find the source of the pain. She is an avid consumer of physical therapy research and takes pride in sharing this with her patients. Her goal is to make sure every patient knows how to treat themselves during their episode of care and afterwards to prevent re-injury. After a few visits with Ashley, she will then craft an appropriate patient care plan and manage your care by our coordinated team.
