Sara Lin, PT, DPT

Sara developed an interest in health and wellness starting in high school when she was involved in a variety of sports, including gymnastics, track & field, cross country, and volleyball.  She continued this interest in physical activity throughout her undergraduate program at the University of Michigan. During her time at U of M, Sara became an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, working part-time while finishing her B.S. in Cellular & Molecular Biology.  After graduating from U of M early, Sara decided to take a gap year, working full-time as a personal trainer before starting the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Oakland University. Throughout her clinical rotations, Sara has worked with a variety of patients, finding special interest in running injuries, biomechanics of the lower extremity, and therapeutic exercise. She applies a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques accompanied by an individualized exercise program for each patient.  Outside of physical therapy, Sara loves staying active, reading, and enjoying creative arts. Her ultimate goal is to visit as many countries as possible and to try everything that life has to offer!

 Sara especially enjoys working with:
